On 26 June, Observed International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking to achieve the goal of an international society free of drug abuse. On this day spread awareness to eliminate the Drugs. According to UNODC, All over the world around 250 million people are using illicit drugs such as cocaine, cannabis, hallucinogens, opiates and sedative hypnotics.

In December 1987, the UNG Assembly announced June 26 as the International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking to spread awareness about stopping drugs. It is a global observance not a public holiday.

How we can spread the awareness:
On this day UNODC, launched a campaign on Drugs and Crime to control all these Illicit Trafficking. The UNODC associates with other organisations and encourages people to participate in these campaigns.

Governments, Individuals and organisations all over the world have participated in these launching events and other activities like street raillies to spread awareness to stop drugs.

Organising the events in schools, colleges, public places, and the workplace to spread awareness to the whole world about this issue and how it is dangerous.

Why you should taking Drugs:

Youngsters start taking drugs and alcohol in fun, but later they get used to it, But it is a very dangerous thing from both law and health point of view.

There are many drug users who want to quit but they have failed in this. Its addiction is very hard to get rid of. According to a UN report,71% have died due to drugs in the last decade.
If any person starts taking drugs, then without it he cannot do any work because drugs affect the proven brain. If he does not take it even for a while, then he starts feeling uncomfortable.
A drug addict spends his whole life in medicine, due to which he himself dies, not enjoying his family life.
This is very expensive. If all his money is exhausted in it, then the drug addict starts stealing from his friends or family.
Medicine is not at all good for the body. He was not thinking to himself what to do. Medicine also comes at a time and stops affecting the body.
The person who takes drugs completely loses his capacity to think. At one point of time he even loses his job because he cannot contribute his work to us.
